What’s the purpose of AAF?
American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Des Moines is a dynamic, growing organization dedicated to professional development and networking in Des Moines and Central Iowa. Annually, AAF hosts the local ADDY® Awards, gRit: our annual student event,and AdMania, the industry trivia night. In addition, the club holds 11 professional development meetings a year featuring a variety of speakers from around the country.
What is AAF?
The AAF is the Unifying Voice for Advertising. We are the only professional association that binds the mutual interests of corporate advertisers, agencies, media companies, suppliers, and academia. The AAF’s 40,000 members share a commitment to make advertising a positive force in America’s economy and culture.

When are your meetings?
Our regular meetings are the third Thursday of each month. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 am and the lunch/program begins at noon. Meetings usually end by 1 pm. View our calendar to see what’s coming up next!
How do I RSVP for lunch meetings?
Simple. Use our online RSVP form! RSVP information is due the Monday before each event by noon. You can also use PayPal to pay online for the meeting.
