- Work closely with designers and other developers to create unique, groundbreaking work for both local and international brands.
- Implement engaging & delightful user experiences using the latest web technologies – bring Photoshop layouts to life.
- Use your sense of taste & style to develop both beautiful work & code on our LAMP platform.
- Be excited about learning new things, passionate about ‘the details’, enjoy variety in your work, and be up for new challenges.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, or 4 years of previous experience in web design & development.

Desired Front-end Development Skills:
- Passionate about new technologies: HTML5, CSS3, techniques for Mobile development.
- Employ best practices: Web standards, accessibility, and usability.
- Work closely with digital designers, share their vision, and turn a Photoshop file into a web page.
- Leverage the jQuery framework on top of your fundamental JavaScript skills – for both visual flare & functional AJAX experiences.
- Familiar with developing HTML E-mails, and using E-mail marketing services.
Desired Back-end Development Skills:
- Ask the right questions to be able to engineer the best solution for our clients’ needs.
- Write object-oriented back-end code in PHP, employing best practices for reusability & security.
- Design relational databases in MySQL, and possess a strong knowledge of the SQL language.
- Integrate with social media services using their APIs (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare, etc.).
- Building upon open source CMS platforms like WordPress.
- Leverage web analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to capture useful data about user behavior.
- Contribute to estimating time required for future projects.
- Use source control (SVN), and be diligent about documenting your work.
It’s a plus if you’re familiar with:
- Managing large databases & ETL.
- Apache & Linux/Unix server administration.
- Ruby on Rails development.
- Flash & ActionScript (web banners & more).
- Mobile app development (PhoneGap, Android, or iOS).
