he AAF of Des Moines is proud to announce this year’s line-up for the 2011 GRiT Student Conference Event!
 
This year’s event will include:
Keynote speaker Del Bracht, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Changing the Conversation:After eighteen years in the insurance industry, Del realized that creating advertising would be more fun. That revelation prompted him to return to school and obtain a degree in advertising; and Del became the industry’s oldest intern. While learning the ropes at Vitro, a small San Diego agency, he worked on challenger brands such as Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Togo’s Sandwiches, Baskin Robbins and Kyocera Wireless. Then, a fateful call from a mentor delivered Del to CP+B in Miami. While working on the Burger King account, Del also oversaw promotions with Microsoft, the NFL, and LucasFilms. A move to Boulder precipitated a change in duties, and Del now works to find the most talented people to work for CP+B.-

Agency tours:
 Find out what goes on behind the scenes at two local agencies - Flynn Wright  and Two Rivers Marketing. Transportation will be provided to and from Meredith.

 Want to know what goes into preparing (and pitching) a multi-faceted campaign? You’ll find out as you brainstorm ideas and show off your creativity using a real life case study provided by Templeton Rye.
